Job Responsibilities:
- Perform claim billing functions for all third party providers.
- Analyze rejection and AR data to troubleshoot and resolve billing problems.
- Communicate effectively via phone or email with third party payers and site personnel.
- Work in collaboration with Triage and AR dept. and other members of financial management team to achieve financial team goals and objectives.
- Reports to and is directly supervised by the A/R Manager.
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Omnicare will be able to provided training that can enable a skilled pharmacy technician to be a very successful third party billing coordinator. Candidates that posses some of the following skill sets will be considered for the position.
- Demonstrated experience with all third party, analysis and collection.
- Pharmacy technician experience desirable but not a requirement.
- Ability to effectively process third party billing to achieve improved customer satisfaction, quality, efficiency and profitability.
- Self-directed, self-motivated, with superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Possesses exceptional interpersonal, business and problem solving skills.
- Exhibits ethical ability that values and respects staff while effectively completing assigned tasks.
- Demonstrated qualities in decision-making abilities to generate new ideas and innovations.
You must be a high school graduate or equivalent. You must be licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or a graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program. |
