Pharmacy Director

The responsibilities for this high profile position are to design, execute and manage effective, efficient and profitable pharmacy services at North Colorado Medical Center. This includes the inpatient pharmacy, disease management clinics, and retail pharmacies in the primary service areas.

This position will provide leadership in a decentralized environment focused on working with patients, physicians and other providers to assist in prescribing, administering and monitoring medication therapy. Clinical and distributive services are highly automated using Pyxis, bedside scanning, micromedex, and automated documentation. The Pharmacy Director will participate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute pharmacy services for the medical center's new $130 million dollar Second Century construction/expansion project, including a third retail pharmacy.

Qualifications include:

• BS in Pharmacy

• Current licensure

• Demonstrated progressive pharmacy management experience

• Strong leadership skills

• Hospital/health care system experience

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and/or Masters degree preferred

• Pharmacy practice residency also preferred
