We are actively looking for Staff Pharmacists to join our team at Sunrise Hospital - located in the the heart of the booming Las Vegas Metropolis Sunrise Hospital serves the local community as a Level II trauma center and as the only Childrens hospital in Las Vegas. With 700+ beds we provide services to the entire Las Vegas valley. Our professional Pharmacy staff have experience with a broad range of pharmaceutical care.
Sunrise hospital is served by a fully automated McKesson Rx robotic dispenser system that provides accurate dispensation of our medicines , coupled with our MEDRX computer system it brings state of the art tracking to our pharmacy.
Job Duties:
The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care for his/her assigned areas of resposibility during their assigned shift. They will ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and accrediting organizations. They will also coordinate, direct and evaluate the activities of the technical persoinnel on their shift. They may be responsible for the maintenance of certain quality assurance activities and proper documentation during their shift. Coverage of other shifts may be necessary on occasion. The Staff pharmacist will be involved in the training of new members.
Job Requirements:
Must be a graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education [ACPE] with a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
Current Nevada license or eligibility required.
Minimum of two years hospital or institutional experience desired.
