Our client, a 200 bed acute care hospital in the Dallas metroplex, has an opening for a 7 on/7 off overnight staff pharmacist. This person will provide pharmaceutical care and services to the patients and other health professionals within the hospital and also provide supervision and direction for the pharmacy technical staff. They will ensure quality and efficiency in the delivery of pharmacy services. The pharmacist also monitors drug therapy as ordered by medical staff; suggests alternative drug therapy when appropriate. Acts as a liaison with nursing and medical staff concerning RX orders, patient reactions, errors and complaints. Requires minimum of B.S. in Pharmacy, licensed by the state of Texas, one year prior pharmacy experience, good communication and computer skills. Please call or email for more details!
