Job Description

SeniorMed LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Walgreens, is an Aurora, Colorado-based provider of customized compliance packaged prescriptions that has been serving senior living communities for ten years. Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include: Consulting with nurses and physicians on patient cases; Responsible for the intake of prescription orders and the efficient fulfillment and accuracy of orders; Assist Manager of Hospice Pharmacy in overall pharmacy operations; Assist in promoting communication and adequate information flow throughout the pharmacy; Assist Pharmacy Manager in staff education on utilization management concepts and activities, pharmacy staff training evaluation and development; Assure regulatory compliance; and Participates in quality initiatives and sets a positive example for customer service standards.

Great Work Schedule:

Two potential shifts: 9:30 am to 6 pm or 11:30 am to 8 pm. The shifts are rotated to make fair for both pharmacists. Work every third Saturday depending on rotation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BS) in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required. Must possess active Colorado Pharmacist license. Long term care, pain management and infusion experience preferred.
