Staff Pharmacist 

Summary of Staff Pharmacist (Compounding):

BioScrip Pharmacy, a nationwide network of community-based specialty pharmacies, has an opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist at our Roslyn/Long Island New York location. This is a great alternative to a typical retail environment, with better hours and a clinical focus.

Required hours are : M-F (8 Hour work days mandated by compounding needs) Flexibility essential.

Responsibilities of Staff Pharmacist :

·                 Key responsibilities include patient advocacy, compliance and dispensing patient orders.

·                 We serve and counsel patients to manage chronic medication needs in areas such as Oncology, HIV/AIDS, organ transplant and other disease states.

Job Requirements:

Requirements for Staff Pharmacist :
·                 Pharm D. or BS Pharmacy degree with a New York pharmacist license required.
·                 Excellent interpersonal skills required.
·                 Oncology compounding experience is necessary
