MANAGER -PHARMACY, HEART CENTER
Reporting to the Director, Inpatient Pharmacy Services, you will be responsible for
all pharmacy services at the new Cleveland Clinic Heart Center, rated #1 by U.S.
News & World Report*– including the distributive and technological aspects of the
medication use system and the supervision of personnel. Opening in October 2008,
the Sydell and Arnold Miller Pavilion will have 288 single patient rooms (including
93 ICU beds), 16 operating rooms, 12 cath labs, 128 exam rooms and 79 procedure
rooms – all located in an 8 story, 1 million square foot addition to the Cleveland
Clinic main campus.
The Managerwill will integrate planning and problem solving with hospital nurse managers and
operational managers to achieve short and long-term success on shared projects.
The successful applicant will be adept at finding solutions to difficult problems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required. Advanced degree preferred. Ability to
effectively communication through written and oral means. Knowledge of medical
safety and regulatory compliance preferred. Minimum of five years of experience
and progressive responsibility in leadership within a healthcare organization
preferred. Must be a USA Registered Pharmacist.
