Clinical Pharmacist - Medicine and Surgery Float

Responsibilities will include performing clinical functions both in teams and independently. Insuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy is implemented for all patients in their care and monitor care appropriately. Supervising daily workflow to accomplish daily tasks allotted to the pharmacist and those who report to him or her (e.g., technicians or interns). Be willing to work with trainees in the department (ie, students, interns, residents or new staff).
Based on staffing needs, you will be assigned to a wide variety of clinical areas (internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, neurology, psych and rehab services) in an acute care environment.
