Clinical Pharmacist - Ambulatory Care

Other duties include:
1. Perform clinical functions both in teams and independently. Insure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy is implemented for all patients in their care and monitor care appropriately. Supervise daily workflow to accomplish daily tasks allotted to the pharmacist and those who report to him or her (e.g., technicians or interns).
2. Maintains a working knowledge of and implements current University Health Care policies and guidelines in addition to state and federal laws related to pharmacy practice.
3. Communicate clearly, assertively, professionally, and politely to all pharmacy customers including patients, their families, and other staff members.
4. Be willing to work with trainees in the department (ie, students, interns, residents or new staff). Maintain dedication to superior customer service when interacting with patients, visitors, family members, staff, co-workers, and vendors.
5. Ambulatory Care practice site is one of the busiest clinics in the health system. Applicant will be working with internal medicine, family medicine, and some specialties.
6. Will collaborate with all levels of providers to perform medication therapy management and medication reconcilliation.
