Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Work directly under the Director of Pharmacy
- Must possess three to five years of experience with increasing responsibility
- Management experience in a medium to large hospital is preferred
- Supervising the operations of the inpatient central pharmacy
- Precept pharmacy students and residents
- Scheduling employees
- Monitoring training and time keeping
- Ordering controlled substances
- Oversight of accuracy and completion of all required documentation
- Oversight of Quality Improvement initiatives
- Coordination of all investigational drug studies, record keeping and pharmacy responsibilities
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm D degree
- Current Florida pharmacy license in good standing
- Must have clean background
