As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, clinical services and education. You will interpret physician medication orders while acting as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel. In addition, you will compound and dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals as needed.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you will possess a Pharm.D degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum of 2 years experience working as a Clinical Pharmacist within an acute care hospital setting or have gone through a residency program in a hospital setting. You must be registered with the California State Board of Pharmacy and have an unexpired BLS Certification and ACLS Certification. A Fire and Safety Certification is also required. If no card is presented upon hire, one must be obtained within 90 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. |
