Pharmacy Supervisor

In this role, you will manage pharmacy operations to ensure caring, comprehensive, economical, and consistently high-quality service in accordance with the departmental standards and government laws and regulations. This position has all supervisory, managerial, and administrative responsibilities including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating staff.

Qualified candidates must have a BS in pharmacy or a PharmD, and a Maryland pharmacy license. Also required is one year of management/supervisory experience and two years’ pharmacist experience or one year of experience as an assistant pharmacy supervisor. Demonstrated knowledge of the formulary process, inventory, and cash control procedures is necessary. An advanced degree in business or health care administration is preferred.
