Banner Del E. Webb's Pharmacy Department is implementing innovative programs to improve clinical outcomes, reduce cost, and increase patient/staff satisfaction. This pharmacist position is a rewarding career opportunity with exposure to myriad clinical services including OB/GYN, L&D, Cardiac, Adult Critical Care, Pediatric and Neonatal Care; Emergency Services, Family Practice, Medicine, Rehabilitation Services, Surgery, Behavioral Health and Oncology.
Position Description
Serves as a therapeutic consultant for medication usage rationale and appropriateness. clinical pharmacology, pharmaco-kinetics, disease management, and nutrition. Actively supports formulary management and the overall medication use process; conducts educational activities to support the advancement of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and allied professionals; applies principles of continuous quality improvement and strives to improve all aspects of patient safety.
This position is 40hrs/wk, rotating Days, Evenings and Weekends. We currently offer a relocation bonus and a differential rate for 7pm and 7am for non-exempt staff.
Requirements
Requires (or eligible for) pharmacy licensure in the state of practice and a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, Microsoft applications and Automated dispensing system.
