Pay Opportunity $38.36 - $61.27

The pharmacist is responsible for the delivery of pharmaceutical care to individuals based on his or her involvement with the four elements of the medication use process (prescribing, dispensing, administration, monitoring of drug effects) and comprehensive assessment, analysis, collaboration with integrated team members, as well as the educational needs of the patient. The pharmacist oversees the activities of pharmacy assistants (technicians/buyers), coordinating their work and checking all orders that they prepare for patients or departments. Additionally, the pharmacist is accountable for on-going evaluation and documentation of all components of pharmaceutical care delivered to customers in the Banner Health.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist in State of Colorado or must become licensed in the State of Colorado through reciprocity or meeting the current requirements of the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy within the time frame agreed upon with the pharmacy manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hospital experience is preferred but not required. 

Prefer working knowledge of Medics computer software program for pharmacy.
