The position is at the Banner Baywood Medical Center is located in East Mesa on Power and Broadway working in the Pharmacy Department specifically Inpatient Clinical Pharmacy.
This is day shift position, 40hrs a week, start and end ours hours can vary daily, flexibility is a plus!

The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to patients and serves as a resource and a drug information specialist to medical, pharmacy, nursing staff and allied healthcare providers. The clinicians serving in this position perform comprehensive clinical assessments and collaborate with the integrated healthcare team to provide quality patient care. The Clinical Pharmacist is accountable for on-going evaluation and documentation of all components of pharmaceutical care delivered to patients within Banner Health. The Clinical Pharmacist must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients being served while maintaining the ideals of Service Excellence. The clinician should also possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements and provide pharmaceutical care based on those needs.
Additionally, the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for precepting PGY1 Pharmacy Residents and Pharmacy Students.

| Qualifications: |
| Requires current pharmacy or eligibility for licensure in the State of Arizona, a degree in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred) from an accredited College of Pharmacy ASHP and completion of an approved residency program is require plus an interest in Cardiology. Previous clinical pharmacy experience is desirable. Must possess good organizational, problem solving and computer skills. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with all levels of Banner Health System staff, Physicians and other contacts. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly pharmacy system software, Microsoft applications and Pyxis. Additional clinical skills necessary to include management of TPN, Pain, Anticoagulation and Pharmacokinetics. |
