FULL-TIME HOSPITAL STAFF PHARMACIST


                                                                              


WORKING HOURS:   
Day/Evening No overnight

MAIN DUTIES: 
Fills orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information. Supervises and directs support personnel. In the absence of the Pharmacy manager may be required to assume essential managerial duties. 

MIN. SKILLS REQUIRED:                                                                                                                           
Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm D degree. Current Florida pharmacy license. Health system experience is preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and cooperatively with staff. Abilitiy to set priorities, make critical decisions and respond quickly to emergency requests and handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedules. Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and communicate effectively. Ability to meet the pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, psychiatric, oncology, obstetric, chemically dependent, rehabilitation and skilled nursing patients. Computer and Customer service skills.
