We are seeking a highly qualified Pharmacy Manager / PIC with strong leadership capabilities.
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the pharmacy, including counseling patients, consulting with prescribers, supervising pharmacy staff, dispensing prescriptions, inventory control, record keeping, quality assurance and legal compliance. The successful candidate will have the desire and ability to:
- Set high standards for customer service
- Hire, lead, and develop outstanding pharmacy staff
- Establish and improve operational procedures
- Ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Participate with management team in developing and implementing business development strategies; managing budget; establishing pricing; and establishing and managing relationships with wholesalers, third party payers, etc.
Qualifications include a minimum of five years experience in a practicing pharmacy with at least two years experience as a Pharmacy Manager, an active/unrestricted Florida Pharmacist license, excellent communication, customer service and management skills, retail or mail order experience preferred.
