Sales Analyst II
Position Summary:
- Collects, analyzes, evaluates and reports data in order to increase sales productivity. Collects sales records and trends and evaluates performance measured against sales quotas. Evaluates current economic conditions and prepares sales forecasts. Develop key measures and indictors to enhance understanding of the business and improve decision making. Create and maintain models to allow business unit heads to track performance and take improvement action.
Qualifications (Required):
Education:
- BSBA required; concentration in Finance or Economics desired.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in related field required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Healthcare and/or pharmaceutical experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient group presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with all employee levels.
- Ability to work with confidential material and maintain confidentiality along with sensitivity to employees and customers needs and data.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills.
Job Duties:
- Collects, analyzes, evaluates and reports data in order to increase sales productivity.
- Collects sales records and trends and evaluates performance measured against sales quotas.
- Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast.
- Perform sales to budget variance analysis.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate current sales goals.
- Provide internal reporting assistance focused on financial and non-financial measures.
- Analyze line of business operations (product lines, stores, payors, disease states) to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action and operational changes.
- Develop models and reporting structure that identify costs (by function, process, fixed, variable) per unit (store, order, script, other) and identify a baseline for action.
- Be an active financial partner to senior management through analysis and other projects that will improve understanding of the business, lead to better decisions and improve productivity and process efficiency.
Other (Required licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel etc.):
- Must have scheduling flexibility and be able to work overtime as required.
- Over night travel on occasion by car and airplane (0%-5%).
