Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of pharmacy services on a day to day basis
• Maintain appropriate pharmacy staffing
• Responsible for purchasing and distribution/dispensing
• IV/TPN admixture preparation
• Communication and education on drugs and related outcomes with physicians, nurses and all health care staff
• Develop and maintain system of financial and inventory control according to company standards, including preparation, submission, and administration of an annual departmental budget
• Evaluate physicians' drug orders for appropriateness with regard to patient condition, organ function, disease state, and concomitant therapies to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Prefer at least a minimum of 2 years Director or Supervisory level experience
• Candidates must have the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, using the English language. 
• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with either a BS or Pharm D
• Current Pharmacist License in good standing
• Must have clean background and good prior work history
