Director of Pharmacy

The key duties of the Director of Pharmacy will include:
- The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for department management, process improvement and development of clinical programs.
- These functions include: directing and managing the day to day operations of the pharmacy, facilitating and coordinating hospital Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee, serving as a liaison between division and the hospital, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, executing patient safety/quality initiatives, manage within budget expectations, and identify and maximize cost saving initiatives.
Qualified candidates will have:
• PharmD or MS degree in Pharmacy.
• 5 years experience as a Pharmacist.
• 2-3 years experience in a managerial capacity
(Pharmacy Manager, Director or Assistant Director).
• Hospital experience preferred
