Involved with the review of medication therapy including order entry, compounding and dispensing of pharmaceutical preparations according to established procedures and policies within the laws, rules and regulations of the State of Nebraska, Nebraska State Board of Pharmacy and Federal agencies. Responsible for performing assigned clinical duties. Works independently within the guidelines of departmental and hospital procedures and policies. Supervision is readily available and work is routinely checked by an associate or supervisor for accuracy and conformance to standards Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Degree or a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from a college of pharmacy. Must be a licensed pharmacist registered in the State of Nebraska, a certified preceptor for the State (becomes certified when eligible) and must become preceptor for Creighton University School of Pharmacy. |
