Director of Pharmacy
We are currently seeking candidates for a Director of Pharmacy position. As Director of Pharmacy with CPS you will have a full support team available to you. From a Regional VP, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, other Directors and more. We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling and supervising activities in the hospital pharmacy according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. You’ll recommend innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. You’ll need the ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns in addition to the ability to work cooperatively with other members of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services and hospital and pharmacy staff. Our ideal candidate has previous pharmacy management experience. An active Pharmacist license in good standing is required for the state you are applying in. Previous hospital pharmacist experience is required. Previous hospital management experience is preferred.
