Sharp Mesa Vista is a 149-bed acute psychiatric hospital, with 7 separate units and treatment of patients of all ages. The Pharmacist provides the professional, clinical and technical knowledge, and skills and expertise required for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports the mission, values and philosophy of Pharmacy Services and Sharp HealthCare.
Location:
This position is located in Serra Mesa.
Hours:
8-hour shift; 7:00 am-3:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, occasional weekends
Qualifications:
- Current CA Board of Pharmacy pharmacist license required without restriction or probation.
- CPR certification required.
- Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy or equivalent required. PharmD preferred.
- BCPP preferred
- Current inpatient hospital experience required.
- Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred.
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications and experience working in a psychiatric facility preferred.
