Providence is looking for a talented Pharmacist to answer the call.
In this role you will develop, coordinate, and maintain clinical and distributive Pharmaceutical Care services in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, primary caregivers and patient/family.You may assist in direct patient care and collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care.As the Pharmacist on location, you will help ensure that patient care is delivered in a manner that optimizes outcome and minimizes cost and be responsible for any delegated act performed by pharmacy technicians.
The essential requirements for this position include the following:
Education:
Must have graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or B. Pharm. degree.An advanced degree (Pharm.D. or M.S.) preferred.
Experience:
Must have basic pharmaceutical knowledge and clinical skills, and be familiar with the basic functions of a hospital pharmacy. Six months experience in an applicable setting.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Alaska Pharmacist License.BLS or the ability to attain certification within 90 days of date of hire required.
