PharMEDium is an IV compounding center with rapid historical growth in the hospital pharmacy service business. We are currently seeking a Staff Pharmacist for our Cleveland facility located in northern Mississippi just a couple of hours away. We can work with you to create the schedule you would like and there are virtuallyno weekends! We offer an attractive compensation package and will provide living arrangements during the work week.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the aseptic compounding of sterile Pain Management Admixtures in accordance with standard operating procedures, FDA, and DEA regulations.
2. Perform quality checks and verifications during aseptic compounding process.
3. Support customer service by responding to hospital pharmacists’ technical or product related inquiries.
4. Provide leadership and direction to pharmacy technician staff.
The right candidate will possess great communication and leadership skills as well hold a degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy with Mississippi license or eligible for licensure. Three to five years Supervisory experience and five years IV experience is preferred but not required.
