Pharmacy Supervisor
At this time we are seeking an individual to manage pharmacy operations and provide leadership to ensure caring, comprehensive, efficient, economical, and consistently high quality service in accordance with departmental standards and applicable laws and regulations. This position has all supervisory, managerial, and administrative responsibilities including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating staff.
Requirements for this position include:
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD; master’s degree in business or health care administration preferred
- District of Columbia pharmacy license
- Two years’ pharmacist experience or one year as an assistant pharmacy supervisor
- One year of supervisory/management experience
- Knowledge of the formulary process, inventory, and cash control procedures
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations
