Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Process and fill prescriptions in a timely manner
- Counsel patients on OTC and prescription medications
- Preform prospective drug interaction review
- Verify all technician work
- Great communication skills needed to express thoughts with co-workers, supervisors, other medical staff and all patients
- Obligated to presenting a friendly positive attitude everyday
- Must have a desire to continue to learn and contribute to improving existing practices to better the hospital
Requirements:
- Work Experience desired 1-3 years in the retail or hospital setting as a pharmacist
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with either a BS or Pharm D
- Current Pharmacist License in good standing
- Additional certifications are a bonus
- Must have clean background and good prior work history
