Supervises daily activities of all pharmacy staff and oversees the clinical activities of licensed nurses to ensure efficient support for the Pharmacy Services. In conjunction with the Pharmacy Director, facilitates the safe, high quality, effective economic use of drugs to provide high quality, cost effective pharmacy services to Medical Center and home based patients. Supervises and closely reviews the work of technical and support personnel.
There is reasonable anticipation that employees in this position will be exposed to blood borne pathogens.
A Bachelors degree in Pharmacy. Current MD state license as a pharmacist.
Two years as a staff pharmacist; demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of medication processing, storage, delivery and inventory control required. Supervisory experience, including interviewing and training skills is required.. |
