Assignment Capsule
As the pharmacy trend and pipeline clinical advisor, you will: proactively identify pertinent pipeline issues that may have an impact on Humana’s cost and trend, complete all necessary background research needed for potential impact analysis for pipeline issues, serve as clinical interfacing with pharmacy analytics and trend detection unit, develop trend management strategies, serve as clinical trend scorecard lead, and participate in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics processes and recommend formulary strategies.

Role Essentials
- Must have an active PharmD license in the state(s) in which you are required to practice
- 1-3 years clinical experience in managed care or pharmacy related field
- 1-3 years experience in analysis and problem-solving
- 1-3 years experience in modeling and forecasting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment and is also an individual contributor
Role Desirables
- Ability to understand clinical and pharmaceutical terminology
- Knowledge of Medicare as it relates to pharmacy
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis in Excel and Access
- Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from complex data
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute effective time management.
- Ability to work in either a team or an individual capacity to achieve goals and meet deadlines
Reporting Relationships
- You will report to the Manager of Pharmacy Clinical Strategies.. This area is under the leadership of the Vice President, Pharmacy and Clinical Integration.
