Job Description

Ralphs Pharmacy is a pioneer in disease state management. We certify our pharmacists in Immunizations, Cholesterol Screenings, and Medication Therapy Management. Ralphs Pharmacy provides our pharmacists with ample staffing so that our pharmacists are able to provide clinical services and dispense prescriptions. We have the highest retention rate of pharmacists in the retail industry. As part of the Ralphs Grocery Company, the pharmacy division began in 1998 and since that time has expanded rapidly throughout California.

The Pharmacy Manager is accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice, within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies.  He or she will manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by effectively monitoring the pharmacy budget, minimizing or altogether avoiding unauthorized overtime, performing necessary pharmacy staff training and development, providing excellence in customer service, managing prescription pricing and generic utilization, controlling pharmacy inventory, and providing/implementing/participating in corporate approved clinical services.

  • Valid  California State Pharmacy  License
  • Commitment to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
  • Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work weekends if deemed necessary.
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and/or projects.
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
  • Ability to work within set time frames and fixed deadlines.
  • Ability and willingness to continue education, as necessary.
  • Participation in clinical programs following company sponsored training, if necessary.
