Job Description:
Chadron Community Hospital and Health Services, a rural healthcare facility located in western Nebraska, is searching for a dedicated pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including our inpatient pharmacy, assisted-living facility and family planning clinic. The pharmacist will be trained in our fully computerized pharmacy to perform both clinical and operational services. These include unit dose drug distribution, intravenous admixtures including chemotherapy and total parenteral nutrition, monitoring and adjusting drug therapy, answering drug information requests, assisting in the management of medical emergencies, providing patient counseling, performing chart reviews, providing diabetic education, dialysis, pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation and hospice services, participating in committees, and providing educational inservices to staff as necessary. The successful candidate will share our mission of providing excellent patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and valid license as a registered pharmacist in the state of Nebraska is required. Previous clinical experience preferred.
