| A Top-Notch Rehab Hospital in the Kansas (outside Topeka) area is in search of Staff Pharmacist for their day shift position. Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the pharmacist is responsible for the daily operations of the Dept. of Pharmacy. Primary responsibilities: Prescription evaluation and order entry, application of principles of pharmaceutical care, supervision of intravenous admixture service including total parenteral nutrition and oncolytic chemotherapy, drug distribution, data colleciton of Drug Use Evaluation information, pharmacokinetic interaction and calculation, and evaluation and organization of drug information materials. This is a full-time position. Job Requirements: Position Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy and a B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Licensed by the State Board. Strong clinical background preferred, with some experience in drug use evaluation. Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other colleagues Good oral/written comunicaitons skills. Knowledge and application of clinical pharmaceutical services desired. High concentration level. Hospital pharmacy experience desirable. There is on average 4 hours of on-call per month.
