Category Manager Generic Strategy in the pharmacy purchasing department will assist in buying of pharmaceuticals for the Walgreen Company; will be involved in negotiations with vendors and formulation of a comprehensive purchasing strategy. Will assist in the development of new vendors and purchasing programs. Will work closely with the generic pharmaceutical purchasing team to make recommendations on generic pharmaceutical products. Will work closely with departments both internal and external and possess a high knowledge of the industry.
