A large, reputable Oncology Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist whom is ready to advance their career in Coastal Georgia.
Job Duties:
--Manage several infusion pharmacies under direct supervision of CEO
--Manage 1 full time pharmacist and 4 technicians
--Develops and implements pharmacy procedures regarding access, distribution, admixture, safety and administration.
--Mixes and labels medications according to protocol and state regulation
--Checks physician orders for completeness, double checks doses if appropriate
--Maintain inventory
The ideal candidate will have:
--5-8 years of management in an oncology/hospital setting
--the ability to be a resource to physicians, patients, and technicians
--knowledge about drug efficacy
--experience with the business side of chemo drugs
--excellent clinical and IV skills
--an active GA license in good standing
