A brand new Pharmacy in Atlanta is actively seeking a Pharmacy Manager to run outpatient operations.
This outpatient pharmacy will be attached to a large, reputable hospital to handle all discharge, ER, and employee patients. The pharmacy personnel will be employees of AmerisourceBergen Corporation, one of the nations leading drug suppliers.
Job Duties:
--Identify and address all issues related to the operation, its implementation, on-going growth and expansion, managing for success
--Assists with the development of information technology needs
--Works closely with upper management to implement and monitor relevant activities
--Assumes responsibilities and completes required documentation for Pharmacist in Charge
--Staff scheduling and provide staff coverage performing all dispensing and patient care related duties
--Mentors trains, coaches, develops, and evaluates employees in his/her reporting relationship
--Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet sales objectives
Minimum skills:
--Thorough knowledge of pharmacy operations in outpatient/retail market segment
--Working knowledge of sales and marketing successful strategic and consultative selling techniques and related information
--Ability to direct activities of others, including coaching, training, guiding, developing and managing
--Strong leadership skills
--Strong dispensing and patient care skills
--Ability to travel occasionally
--Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills to develop and maintain business and working relationships
--Ability to interpret financial data and develop successful strategies to deal with financial issues that are identified
