Position Description: Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP) seeks candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track, critical care position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the assistant professor level, with responsibilities at both the College and Mercy Hospital located in Chicago, IL. This position involves collaboration with the Mercy Hospital MICU and CCU Services and Pharmacy Department. It is anticipated that the candidate will develop a critical care practice to enhance and expand the services already offered by the Mercy Pharmacy Department and serve as a role model for students, pharmacists, and other health care providers. Campus activities include lectures, workshop facilitation, committee service, and student advising. Scholarship is an expected activity for all faculty at CCP.

Required or desired credentials or experience of applicants: Applicants must have a Pharm.D. degree, have completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency, and have completed a PGY-2 Critical Care residency, or have equivalent training or experience. Candidates with previous academic teaching and precepting experience are preferred.

Description of institution/organization: The Chicago College of Pharmacy is located in suburban Downers Grove, and shares the Midwestern University campus with the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM) and the College of Health Sciences.
