STAFF PHARMACIST

JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Staff Pharmacist supervises the unit drug distribution system, coordinates the IV admixture program, maintains the drug formularly, and the drug information library. The staff pharmacist also monitors patient drug usage, participates in the review and revision of department policies and performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as noted.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy. Prefer work experience in a hospital setting. Prefer working knowledge of personal computer operations and business applications (word-processing, spreadsheet, database).

EXPERIENCE & SPECIAL SKILLS:
Able to make mathematic computations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Basic keyboard skills for computer data entry. Read and comprehend detailed laws and regulations pertaining to their position.
