JOB SUMMARY
The Pharmacist, under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist performs clinical and professional work in the compounding and dispensing of medications and IV supplies. The pharmacist is also responsible for maintaining and updating patient profiles, obtaining medications, compounding pharmaceuticals, providing in-services, and supervision of technicians.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D from an accredited college of pharmacy required.
Experience: One year of hospital Pharmacy experience or internship preferred.
Licensure, Registration, Certification: Current Missouri Pharmacist License.
Mental/Physical Requirements (May be met with appropriate accommodations if deemed necessary): Considerable mental concentration for sustained periods of time on variable operations. Physical requirements of standing, walking, sitting, and lifting (50 lbs) will be necessary.
Working Conditions: Standard working conditions. Some printer noise. Subject to difficult deadlines and sensitive situations.
