Director of Pharmacy needed in Tennessee
Smaller Facility, some on call with position, there maybe some later evenings depending on patient needs.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the pharmacy to see that patients’ pharmaceutical needs are effectively met.
- The Pharmacist is responsible for all pharmacy activities performed at the facility.
- The Pharmacist is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, performing and supervising pharmacy services.
- This position provides education programs necessary to develop and maintain a competent staff with regard to drug therapy.
- This position is actively involved in Performance Improvement activities for pharmacy services and other hospital services as appropriate.
- The Pharmacist shall have the ability to provide clinical pharmaceutical care.
- This position requires the ability to perform management operations directly related to administrative goals and policies; to provide regular and direct assistance to executives; to perform routine and special assignments independently; and to continuously strive for performance improvement.
- Establishes policies and procedures.
- Establishes standards and objectives for the provision of services.
- Coordinates with other departments to provide maximum level of service to patients and hospital staff.
- Must be a registered pharmacist in the state of Tennessee.
