Responsible for directing Medication Usage Evaluation (MUE) studies and Performance Improvement (PI) programs which are required by the hospital in order to meet the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO) standards or the hospital's internal PI programs. Assist Pharmacy Director in preparing all necessary materials for the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting. Prepares all materials relating to clinical pharmacy activities and coordinates these activities.
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree or equivalent Registration with Florida State Board of Pharmacy. Must possess good oral and written communications skills in the English language. ASHP accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred or 3 years clinical hospital experience. |
