Overnight Pharmacist Needed in beautiful Oceanside, CA

DESCRIPTION

Clinical pharmacist position in a progressive hospital setting with activities that include: Pharmacokinetic dosing service, anticoagulant dosing service, renal dosing, IV to PO interchange, and drug information. The preferred applicant will be a motivated pharmacy professional with at least 2 years of relevant work experience or 1 year of hospital residency training. Excellent communication skills and a desire to have a positive impact on patient care are needed.

The working hours for this position are 7pm-7am, 7 days on, 7 days off.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Two (2) years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred. 2. Must have current knowledge of drugs, their actions, availability, and I.V. incompatibility. 3. Maintains a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education per license period (2 years). 4. Be professionally competent in all phases of pharmaceutical care. EDUCATION: License-eligible education required (PharmD for recent graduates) LICENSE: Current California Pharmacist License required. 

Compensation is comensurate with Experience
