Experienced Director of Pharmacy needed in Las Cruces, NM
Description
This position is responsible for all aspects of pharmacy services in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Responsibilities include purchasing, distribution/dispensing, accountability of charges, personnel management, and dissemination of information to pharmacy, nursing, medical staffs, and financial management of the department.
Qualifications
Education:
Experience:

Registered pharmacist for at least seven years.

Prefer at least five years supervisory/management experience as either a director, assistant director, or supervisor of pharmacy in an acute care hospital.

Hospital pharmacy management residency or five years experience.
License/certification:
Other Skills / Abililities:

Specialized knowledge: computers (spreadsheets, word processors, data bases, and pharmacy operation systems-Meditech) applications and advanced management techniques.
