DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY
The Director of Pharmacy will oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department for the hospital; supervise/direct staff members, which includes but is not limited to interviewing/hiring, coaching/mentoring staff members, evaluating/providing feedback; actively build positive working relationships with hospital physicians and other departments; administer the departmental budget; monitor staff productivity; ensure quality standards are met within unit; assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans aligned with developing staff, improving patient satisfaction, and growing patient volumes; assist with the development of standardized protocols as dictated by physicians and quality initiatives; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Current LA Licensed Pharmacist; Pharm D Preferred
· BS in Pharmacy.
· Three to Five Years Pharmacy Mgmt Experience; Five+ Years in a Hospital Setting.
· Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills skills; working knowledge of PCs with specific experience in MS Excel; ability to work positively with a team; good communication skills-verbal and written; ability to handle multiple priorities.
