Pharmacy Director for a small facility will be a "working" director and will be a 7 on 7 off position

Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the CEO.  The department maintains necessary inventory to meet the medication needs of the diverse patient population served by the hospital.
Participates in all aspects of the medication use including ordering and prescribing, dispensing, administering, and monitoring all medications utilized.
The Pharmacy Director must be able to take call, work holidays and weekends.
This schedule works 7 on/7 off, and has 24/7 accountability for the department.
May be required to attend meetings on day off.
 
Qualifications:
Requires current Arizona pharmacist license (or able to obtain)
Advanced degree in Pharmacy (M.S. or Pharm.D.) preferred
Five years experience as a registered pharmacist.
Two years managerial experience is preferred or must demonstrate management and leadership ability
