Description: Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Colton, CA
Looking for experienced hospital pharmacist who can work all shifts in one of the county's busiest hospitals.
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 373-bed facility featuring the newest technology in the field of patient care. It is host to a 24-hour Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center, three Family Health Centers, and the only Burn Center serving the San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. The management of the Pharmacy is outsourced to Institutional Pharmacy Services (IPS), an affiliate of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS.) All Pharmacy staff are employees of IPS. The Arrowhead Pharmacy is centralized and open 24/7.
As a Staff Pharmacist at Arrowhead, we’ll rely on you to fill orders with accuracy; check technician prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Associate Directors and Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy.
Minimum Requirements: - A Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD) - CA licensure in good standing - Residency training or equivalent experience - Acute care hospital experience - Excellent customer service skills.
