Hospital Clinical Pharmacist

REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of a Residency PGY1 or PGY2 with previous hospital experience, 3 years experience in critical care and a current Florida license.
This position is Monday-Friday dayshift (7am is start time) with every 3rd weekend.
This position is a combination of regular clinical pharmacy duties on the floors and liaison and preceptor for the residency program and students here on rotations.
POSITION DETAILS:
Fills orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitors patient drug therapies, and provides drug information. Supervises and directs support personnel. In the absence of the Pharmacy Director/Manager may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform duties of the Pharmacy Director/Manager.
* Ability to set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond quickly to emergency requests, and handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedules.
* Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and communicate effectively (orally and in writing).
* Ability to meet the pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, psychiatric, oncology, obstetric, chemically dependent, rehabilitation, and skilled-nursing patients.
