Main duties: Director of Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the medication management process for all patients. DOP is held accountable for the development, organization, key collaborations and relationships, direction and financial success and operations of Pharmacy services. . Engages and collaborates with physicians in identifying opportunities, improvement, program development and capital budgeting. Accountable for budget preparation, implementation, monitoring and adjustment as necessary to meet strategies, goals and objectives. Utilizes diagnostic tools and metrics to analyze data, trends and make recommendations to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Director of Pharmacy ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal services, meets all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements; complies with all applicable policies, procedures, codes, and standards of the organization.
MIN. SKILLS REQUIRED: PharmD from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy. Registration and licensure current with the Wyoming Board of Pharmacy or the ability to obtain. Five years experience in health-system pharmacy. Prior experience in a supervisory capacity. Residency trained (preferred)
