Our client, a leading acute care hospital system located in Greenville, SC, is seeking candidates for an Informatics Pharmacist to join their team. The successful candidate for this position will participate in the development/maintenance of pharmacy information systems and Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) for the hospital system. Duties will include: • Analyzing user needs, documenting requirements and researching appropriate pathways • Meeting regularly with pharmacy areas and hospital departments to assist with decision support analysis and the creation and maintenance of the pharmacy information technology plan. • Provideing high quality comprehensive pharmaceutical care appropriate to the age of the patient which contributes to positive patient outcomes. • Facilitating patient care through the use of technology and appropriate clinical judgment. Requirements include a MINIMUM of TWO YEARS experience in a large, tertiary acute care hospital and experience with CPOE build, working with nurses, physicians, information services, support of the pharmacy system including drug master, order set build, detail report analysis for various committees, test plans and live support. BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree (preferred) and SC pharmacist license (or eligible to reciprocate from another state) a must.
