Our client, a large non-profit hospital located in Winston Salem, NC is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Oncology Clinical Pharmacist position.
Must have two or more years of experience in a hospital environment and strong leadership and communication skills. (Pharmacy Residency at an accredited program preferred.)
Additional requirements Include:
*At least two year of experience working with oncology medications and protocols.
*License to practice pharmacy in NC Extensive knowledge of medicine (drugs, dosages, side effects, handling) and the legal, regulatory and standards of practice of the profession.
*Experience working within a computerized pharmacy department and skill in using a personnel computer and software such as word processing and spreadsheets.
*Ability to serve as a role model for staff pharmacists.
*Solid decision-making and problem solving skills
In this position, you are responsible for helping to deliver desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies.
Basic Duties Include:
*Provides and supports pharmacy and other organizational programs.
*Works closely with the Pharmacy Manager to implement programs and patient care activities.
*Assists in providing staff development/orientation.
*Assists with precepting of students.
