The Phoenix Division's Pharmacy Operations Department, located in Tempe, Arizona, has an opening for a Regional Pharmacy Manager.
Qualifications:
• Arizona licensed Pharmacist required
• Immunization License preferred
• Experience as a Pharmacist-In-Charge or Pharmacy Manager required
• Knowledge of Safeway Pharmacy practices, including inventory control, third party programs generic usage.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
• Leadership skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Good computer skills
• 5-7 years retail management preferred
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Will be responsible for operation of up to 25 Pharmacies including:
? Customer service
? Sales
? Expense Control
? Gross Margin
? Staffing/Recruiting
? Training and Development
? Budgeting
• Recommend and supervise pharmacy department programs to meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume.
• Ensure that pharmacy department marketing programs are implemented to increase pharmacy department sales.
• Train, advise and instruct pharmacy managers and staff on best practices.
• Ensure compliance to all state, federal, and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance to acceptable inventory levels and re-engineered workflow.
• Ensure emergency staffing needs are met.
• Review overall compliance to labor model.
• Mentor pharmacy manager on financial reports and responsibilities.
• Develop future pharmacy managers/leaders.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule. Extensive travel required within assigned Districts.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
